Early Life

Burke was born in Providence, Rhode Island, in 1955. He grew up playing hockey and was a standout player at Providence College. After graduating, Burke played professionally in the AHL and ECHL. He also had a brief stint in the NHL with the Vancouver Canucks.

Coaching Career
